The only MF combine left is the Ideal and AGCO has decided to label them Fendt for NA. In the rest of the world you can get MF combines even the Ideal is badged MF. Merry Christmas everyone.
So the big reveal of the new T series is out I see. Big 🤪 improvements like an auger extension you can order from factory, rotor reverser, one side panel made out of 2, new decals T instead of a S . Did I miss anything? I honestly don’t know why they bothered, I keep hoping that they will make...
Double what you pay for the combine to make repairs the first year. Than plan on 10% of the price of the combine in repairs yearly. SO if you find a machine for $10k, plan on $10K repairs right of the bat, and then $1K every year. If you don't have this expense - you got lucky! Always carry a large fire extinguisher in the combine.
I am considering a move up from my 860 hydro to either a 8570 or a 2188. Capacity isn't my biggest concern, rather dependability and easy to work on. Another factor is the Case combine sells for about $20,000 more than a comparable 8570. Do you have to change concaves on the MF for different...

If this is what you have, you will need this, and more. 2) the head has (or had) Headsight sensors installed under the skids for operating in wheat/rye/oats, etc in rigid mode. The sensors are removed when operating in flex.
Both Hillco and Rahco work jointly with the combine company to do this. Yes, I've seen other combines [pre-owned] have these hillside features added. I can only presume in such a case, the dealer or even individual makes all needed arrangements whereby the mods are made at the respective factories.
Ford 611 is the only ford combine that was painted red, and was built by oliver for ford before the contract with claas. the Ford 642 and the 622 were the last models on the ford combine line. the 611 was the first, 620, 630 and 640 were the next models up from the 611.
Way back when, combine "class" was determined by the # of straw walkers a combine had! A class 4 machine had 4 walkers! Since most walkers were the same width, it gave a real close comparison on threshing area size. Obviously that is long gone!
