Demonstrators have taken to the streets across multiple states on Thursday to protest President Donald Trump’s Administration in a day of action honoring the late civil rights icon Rep. John Lewis, with more events planned across the country in the evening.

Protesters rallied on the fifth anniversary of John Lewis' death to honor his legacy and denounce the Trump administration's rollback of civil and human rights.

Protesters are set to take to the streets in over 1,600 locations across the nation on Thursday, with left-wing activists claiming the Trump administration’s immigration policies and Medicaid changes are rolling back civil rights.
