The Kansas City Chiefs enter the NFL offseason looking to bounce back from a blowout loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl. Kansas City finished the season with a 17-3 record, defeating the Buffalo Bills and the Houston Texans in the playoffs.

The Kansas City Chiefs' latest social media announcement officially ended a Patrick Mahomes streak that stretched back a couple of seasons.

Mahomes told AOL in 2019 that the hairstyle was the result of a friendly bet with a buddy when he was younger. They each grew out their hair and wanted to see who would go the longest before finally cutting it. “As I grew it out, I realized that I actually liked it a lot,” Mahomes told AOL Sports. “So, I kept it going.”
