Zohran Mamdani, the presumptive Democratic nominee for NYC mayor, met Wednesday with congressional Democrats as he continues his outreach.

The suit hits as Adams is fighting for his political life, distantly trailing Mamdani, Cuomo and Republican Curtis Sliwa in polling as he mounts an uphill campaign to keep his job. Yet the mayor will continue to have a bully pulpit that comes with leading the nation’s largest city — something his rivals don’t enjoy.

AOC, who loudly backed Mamdani during the primary, said she was eager for people in DC to meet her fellow lefty firebrand face-to- face to hear his plan for NYC.
