The Rockies trailed, 3-1, before McMahon bested Twins starter Zebby Matthews for his 15th home run of the season. After that, righty Antonio Senzatela went a season-best seven innings (three runs, six hits, three strikeouts) -- and possibly raised eyeballs for teams that may need starter help.
He went seven innings, allowing three runs on six hits with three strikeouts and just one walk. He allowed just two hits after the second inning, induced two crucial double plays, and threw 78 pitches. It was the fourth time a Rockies starter has gone seven innings this season and the first since Germán Márquez on May 22.

McMahon capped off a four-run first inning for the Rockies with his 14th home run of the season. He continues to struggle to hit for average, as he's gone just 19-for-98 (.194) across his last 27 games, but McMahon does have five home runs in that span.
The Rockies have deep-seated issues, including a lackluster offense, poor defense, sketchy starting pitching, and a terrible home record.
