Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence start-up xAI says it is in the process of removing "inappropriate" posts by Grok on X, the social media site formerly known as Twitter, after users pointed out the chatbot repeated an antisemitic meme and made positive references to Hitler.

Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence company said Wednesday that it’s taking down “inappropriate posts” made by its Grok chatbot, which appeared to include antisemitic comments that praised Adolf Hitler.

The Writers Guild of America East has left Elon Musk’s X, citing antisemitic language from the platform’s AI chatbot Grok as the primary reason.
