Manchester City have confirmed the signing of highly-rated Norwegian midfielder Sverre Nypan. The 18-year-old joins from Rosenborg, for whom he made his senior debut at just 15 years old, the youngest ever Eliteserien debutant besides Martin Odegaard. He has signed a five-year deal, tying him to the Etihad through 2030.

Nypan has agreed to a five-year contract with Pep Guardiola's team, joining from Norwegian side Rosenborg for a reported £12.5m (€14.5m) transfer fee
