Supergirl, which is helmed by Craig Gillespie and stars House of the Dragon ‘s Milly Alcock reps her first produced screenplay based on Tom King’s graphic novel, Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow. The pic comes out on June 26, 2026.

If true, this will be the third movie the actress and writer has penned for DC Studios. Nogueira has already written the "Supergirl" reboot for the studio, and was reportedly working on a live-action "Teen Titans" script as well.

Nogueira is a favorite at the studio, where she has a blind deal and wrote next summer’s Supergirl movie and is working on a live-action Teen Titans movie for the Warner Bros.

DC Studios has hired “Supergirl” screenwriter Ana Nogueira to write its reboot of “Wonder Woman,” Variety has confirmed. Nogueira is also writing a live-action “Teen Titans” for the studio. Wonder Woman has become a major priority for the studio.

Back in June, DC Studios Co-CEO James Gunn announced that a new “Wonder Woman” film was being written alongside an already-announced HBO series “Paradise Island,” which will focus on the superhero’s homeland of Themyscira and on which Gunn says development is “slow moving, but it’s moving.”

Absolute Wonder Woman has already introduced several Greek gods, reenvisioning them in ways that will shake the Absolute Universe.
