There will be a new episode of “SNL” on Saturday, Dec. 20 and it will be the last one for the year. Ariana Grande is expected to host with musical guest Cher. This isn’t the first time Grande will be hosting “SNL” as she hosted back in October 2024 and served as the musical guest in September 2014 and March 2024.

"Saturday Night Live" is once again parodying President Donald Trump -- this time, taking jabs at his recent holiday speech that included the announcement of his "Patriot Games" ... in light of the Jeffrey Epstein files dropping Friday.

Pete Davidson is officially a dad! The Saturday Night Live alum, 32, and his girlfriend Elsie Hewitt, 29, welcomed their first baby, a girl named Scottie Rose Hewitt Davidson, together, sharing the news on Thursday, Dec. 18 on their Instagram pages. Scottie was born on Dec. 12.

Bowen Yang is signing off. The Dec. 20 episode of "Saturday Night Live Kenan Thompson also stopped by in the sketch to tell Yang, "Good luck. I'm going to miss you." Near the end of the sketch, Yang seemed to become legitimately emotional as he reflected,

During Saturday’s episode, which featured Ariana Grande hosting and Cher as the musical guest, the sketch comedy show took the time to remember Reiner, who was killed alongside his wife, Michele Singer Reiner, last weekend. The couple’s youngest son, Nick Reiner, has been charged with the murder of his parents.
