The award-winning news comedy show, which propelled Jon Stewart to fame and saw him return as a one-day-a-week anchor in 2024, is adding a new rotating host to its lineup.

Comedy Central announced Josh Johnson will join the News Team hosting rotation at "The Daily Show." Johnson makes his debut at the iconic desk on Tuesday.

Johnson, a rising stand-up comic, has been a writer on the show since 2017 and an onscreen presence since last year. He’ll take his first turn as host on Tuesday.
