Four people died and another was injured in a car crash Wednesday night in the Sonora area of Tuolumne County, the California Highway Patrol said.

At least one person was killed in a crash involving a big rig Thursday morning in north Sacramento, the California Highway Patrol said.

All four who died from injuries they suffered in the collision were from Puerto Rico and rode in a Jeep Grand Cherokee.
