Five years after the death of civil rights leader John Lewis, a group of demonstrators gathered Thursday to honor his legacy while also protesting

The “Good Trouble Lives On” national day of action honors the late congressman and civil rights leader John Lewis. Protests are expected to be held along streets, at court houses and other public spaces. Organizers are calling for them to be peaceful.

More than two dozen protests were planned across Arizona to honor the late Rep. John Lewis, a longtime civil rights leader.

The name "Good Trouble Lives On" comes from a phrase coined by the late Rep. John Lewis, a pioneering civil rights advocate.
