Ever since LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers were unable to agree on a contract extension, it seems like The King's days in Hollywood are numbered. If he demands a trade or agrees to a buyout, the Cleveland Cavaliers and Dallas Mavericks seem to be the two most realistic landing spots.
This comes as James’ agent Rich Paul put out a series of curious statements related to his top client’s future in Los Angeles and what appears to be hopes for trades. James to remain a Laker remains the most likely option, but the odds have shifted from -700 to -340 at the time of writing.
It isn't likely that the Los Angeles Lakers will move on from LeBron James. However, if they do, the Dallas Mavericks will be one of the teams interested. If it comes down to a trade, however, the Mavericks might not be as inclined to get something done.
